The Osage River winds slowly from the base of Bagnell Dam past the old river town of Bagnell where Lazy K Campground is located bordering the Osage River and Blue Spring Creek. Lazy K has great access to fishing, arrowhead hunting and fantastic bird watching like Blue Herons, Pileated Woodpeckers, Turkey vultures and Red Shouldered Hawks just to name a few of the big ones. Come and see the Bald Eagles in the cooler months when they return to winter on the Osage River.

Enjoy sitting poolside by our sparkling inground pool that also includes a wading pool for the little ones just learning to swim. We have an equipped arcade rec room, a Camp Store with grocery, RV items, fishing bait and a Laundromat for your convenience. A concrete boat ramp allows easy access to the Osage River, but fishing along the riverbank is also easily accessible for those wanting to catch the "Big One". Have your picture taken and added to the collection of trophy fish caught here at the Lazy K. Black bass (largemouth), crappie, flathead catfish, and walleye are among the kinds of fish that can be caught in the Osage River. Join us March 15 for the opening of Spoonbill season and try your luck at snagging.

Lazy K is located one mile off Hwy 54 at the end of County Road V, two miles east of Bagnell Dam, just five minutes from the historic Bagnell Dam "Strip" where you'll find unique shops, family restaurants, and fun things to do for every age. We are also just far enough away from the busy lake traffic to enjoy a peaceful night's sleep under starry skies away from city lights.

Lazy K has many sites to please every type of RVer and camper. We have large pull-throughs with full hook-ups which include Cable Tv, and a tree and grassy lawn in front that overlook the Osage River. We also have water and electric sites for pop-ups and tents close to the shower and bathroom facilities, and a primitive area under mature, shady trees for those of you who want to rough it.

New for the year 2000, Lazy K will offer camping cabins. Or one room log cabins set among mature oak, walnut and pecan trees, come with a double bed and a set of bunk beds that will accommodate up to four people. They are equipped with electric, air conditioning and heating for your comfort, and the covered porch in front will let you enjoy the outdoors in any weather. Each cabin also comes with a picnic table and grill, so all you need to bring are your sleeping bags, cooking and eating utensil, and you're ready to enjoy camping at the Lazy K.

Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day Holiday weekends require a 3-night minimum and a first night deposit to guarantee your reservation.
