The charms of this home away from home include a variety of interesting new friends from all walks of life, any state in the nation, and often international travelers. There are many recreational opportunities in calm, peaceful, family oriented surroundings, which are secure and regularly maintained. For the young at heart, there is a well-equipped playground,
arcade, volleyball and badminton area, swimming pool and swimming pond for water volleyball. A well stocked camp store, LP gas and modern laundry are also on the premises. Many popular activities such as miniature golf, go-carts, and horseback riding are conveniently located nearby. Campers will find popular restaurants, attractions and shops within a short drive from the park.  The Riverview family will also be glad to assist you in locating these attractions, making dinner or show reservations or locating a local fishing guide. A boat ramp, dock and stocked fishing pond, in addition to 1/3 mile of Osage riverbank make this a fisherman's dream. The fishing "season" lasts all year long. The Lake of the Ozarks area, including the Osage River,  has always been
known for recreational fishing and hosts several major bass tournaments each year. If bass are not your fish of choice, try crappie, white bass, striped and hybrid bass or monster catfish. For a real thrill, stop in during Spoonbill (paddlefish) season (March 15 through April 30) and hook into a remnant of the dinosaur age.

Golfers will find diverse and challenging courses in the surrounding area, including those designed by Arnold Palmer (Osage National), Jack Nicholas (Porto Cima), Tom Weiskopf (Old Kinderhook), and Robert Trent Jones (Lodge of the Four Seasons). Golf-A-Round packages are also available.

Campers wishing to take a tour of the Lake of the Ozarks will find four excursion boats nearby. You can board the Tom Sawyer for a turn-of-the-century paddlewheel experience. Casino Pier offers one and two hour cruises on the Commander and breakfast, lunch and dinner cruises on the Larry Don. In addition to scenic and dinner cruises, the Celebration at Pier 17 offers charter cruises for special occasions.

Several music shows contribute to the entertainment of our guests. The Ozark Opry has entertained guests since 1953, providing a unique blend of music and comedy. The Main Street Music Hall blends country music with a nostalgic return to the 50's and 60's.

Those campers that prefer to "shop 'till they drop" will find a gold mine of opportunity nearby. The Factory Outlet Village offers 110 factory direct outlets in a picturesque village setting. If your taste runs to boutique items, you can fill a day at Main Street Shopping Village. Those who prefer to investigate the antique and flea markets will find over 50 shops in the Lake area. These plus a broad variety of other shops, including trading posts, craft and "handmade" shops, country sampler shops with quaint tea rooms, can all be found within a short drive from Riverview.

Four of Missouri's famed show caves can be found within 30 miles of the park. Bridal Cave, host of over 1,700 weddings, is the oldest cave in the Lake area. Jacob's Cave is the largest and only walk-through cave accessible to persons with disabilities. Ozark Caverns is a state-owned facility; great care is taken not to disturb anything of nature with tours taken by lantern.

Come and see for yourself why Riverview RV Park has become the Lake area's most popular resort park. Why not try something new this year and bring your family to RIVERVIEW RV PARK - Where friendly people meet!
