Lake Ozark Dixieland Jazz Festival
November 1-4, 2007, Country Club Hotel & Spa
The Lake Ozark Annual Dixieland Jazz Festival will be held on November 1-4, 2007 at the Country Club Hotel & Spa in Lake Ozark, Missouri. This annual event will be comprised of four premiere traditional jazz bands featuring musicians from different parts of the country.
The bands that will be performing during this four-day event are:
- Lynn Zimmer & The Jazz Band featuring Connie Jones on cornet, Lynn Zimmer on clarinet, Mike Pittsley on trombone, Ken Kehner on piano, Gerald Spaits on bass and Jeff Hamilton on drums.
- Bob Schulz’s Frisco Jazz Band (from San Francisco)
- Jean Kittrell & The St. Louis Rivermen
- The New Red Onion Jazz Babies (from Kansas City)
The bands will be performing in Palazzo Hall at the Country Club Hotel & Spa beginning at 7:00 pm on Thursday evening, November 1st, and concluding at 10:00 pm on Sunday evening, November 4th. The “All That Jazz” admission pass will entitle patrons to attend all performances during the festival. Additionally, tickets are available for individual morning/afternoon and evening sessions. Hotel/Festival packages are available for those who wish to stay at the hotel during the festival. Food and beverages will be available in the convention hall and also in the hotel’s restaurant, the “Bourbon Street Grill.”
