The 35th Annual Lake Area Christmas Parade will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 1:00 pm. The Parade will line up at 242 starting at the HH & Bagnell Dam Blvd. intersection, and will turn right to proceed down Bagnell Dam Boulevard to the Dam.

Please note the changes this year! The parade starts at 1 pm and line-up is at 11:30 am sharp, then immediately after the parade Santa will be greeting all the kids at Luby's Plaza there will be treats and a small gift bag for the kids, hot chocolate, coffee and refreshments, Christmas music and caroling and also the Parade Float will be announced as they drive by.! So after the parade come and enjoy the old time community Christmas atmosphere and cheer as Santa greets the kids, and enjoy each other!

The Parade will be lead by the Maine Corp League Honor Guard with the Grand Marshall and all parade participants following them. Santa and Mrs. Claus will again be arriving in style in Santa’s beautiful Red Sleigh lit with over 2,000 lights. Along with the lights are over 100 ft of garland. Numerous Christmas songs will fill the air with sounds of the season, and Santa’s helpers on board will toss out treats! Santa’s ride is provided by a collaborative effort of Steve Lemens, Pam Leeper, Mike Kolar, Pat Lemens, Glen & Sonya Colliver, and Randy & Kerry Mueller with special thanks to Glencove Marina and Summerset Boat Lifts. The return of many of the previous attractions are expected for this years’ parade such as, The School of the Osage Marching Band, Lake of the Ozarks Corvette Car Club, Camden County Saddle Club, The Shriners, Clowns, plus other familiar organizations, Horse Clubs, Car Clubs, Civic Organizations, Dance Troupes, Businesses and local Church groups just to name a few.
