The Lake of the Ozarks is home to a variety of excellent schools. Along with a selection of preschools, elementary schools, and middle schools, there are four high schools conveniently situated in the Lake area. The senior classes consistently achieve ACT scores above state and national averages, with two-thirds of graduates moving on to college. Additionally, the Lake area boasts two technical career centers, a four-year liberal arts college extension campus, and a satellite community college.
